Ponooc invests in wind turbine manufacturer Lagerwey

Ponooc, the independently operating investment fund of Pon, invests in wind turbine manufacturer Lagerwey. With this investment Ponooc takes a a minority in Lagerwey. Wind fits into the sustainable investment strategy of Ponooc.

Lagerwey is able to become a leading player in the wind industry with its innovation power and years of experience.” The participation of Ponooc enables Lagerwey to accelarate its growth plans. For example, new prototypes of wind turbines are being developed and a new production facility will be built.

With our new L136 platform we have developed the largest IECII wind turbine in the market. But we also want to develop the technique to install wind turbines further. For example, with the Lagerwey Crane which can climb to any height and makes large and heavy cranes obsolete.“
